PAUL BROWN
PRINCIPAL CONSULTANT
Paul Brown has 30+ years of professional experience as a fish biologist, fisheries scientist and wetland ecologist, working for state agencies in NSW, Victoria and the Murray-Darling Freshwater Research Centre and La Trobe University.
Paul has led, managed or collaborated in a wide range of projects ranging from field-based biological surveys of fish populations and riverine forest health, to social surveys of the human-dimension of recreational fisheries, to the development and use-of computer-based population models to simulate potential management scenarios for recreational fisheries management and pest-fish control plans.
Paul’s previous professional involvement with State and Commonwealth agencies throughout southeastern Australia means he can rapidly appreciate client needs for these sectors through an understanding of their governance.
